A pendulum supported in a rigid frame by low-friction bearings
A pivot arrangement which includes an angular encoder to measure the angular position of the pendulum over its range of movement
A safety guard covering all moving parts, fully enclosing the unit
Adjustable feet on the base of the unit to enable accurate levelling of the Equipment
An electromagnetic safety system which holds the pendulum in the armed position
Maximum impact energy = 2.75 J
Specimens cut from 3.2 mm diameter rod, supplied as:
